In partnership with Enterprise Cheshire and Warrington, we’re offering funded training opportunities to help you gain key retrofit qualifications, develop your professional skills, and work towards TrustMark Accreditation. Whether you’re starting out or looking to progress in the retrofit industry, you’ll receive expert-led learning and continued professional support throughout your journey.

Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor and Level 4 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment

This dual qualification program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to assess a home’s energy efficiency, provide recommendations for improving its energy performance, and includes full accreditation on graduation as a Retrofit Assessor!

Next Cohort: Applications Close 9th June 2025

Who’s this for? Ideally, you will have experience or interest in the built-environment and housing sector or are looking to make a career change into retrofit.

Duration and Content: 8-week fast-track programme You will be required to attend two full weeks of learning on Week 1 and Week 5 of the course, an onsite practical demonstration, as well as independent study via our online learning platform of up to 20 hours per week in the weeks in between.

Assessment: One written assignment per module. Final professional discussion.

TrustMark Accreditation: Learners will be awarded TrustMark Accreditation for the role of Retrofit Assessor through the new TRA/Sterling Accreditation scheme.

LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA IN Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management

Retrofit coordinators manage the PAS 2035 process throughout a project. They are critical for ensuring compliance with procurement, specification and delivery of all measures in domestic retrofit projects.

Next Cohort: Applications Close 9th June 2025

Who is this for: Experienced built-environment professionals with management experience and knowledge of PAS 2035. Ideal for those looking to take the next step in their retrofit career.

Duration and Content: 145 hours of supported online learning with a one-day expert-led session.

Assessment: One written assignment per module, a case study and final professional discussion

TrustMark Accreditation: Learners will be awarded TrustMark Accreditation for the role of Retrofit Coordinator through the new TRA/Sterling Accreditation scheme.
