Retrofit Skills Coach Wanted

Salary: Up to £45,000 + competitive package (pension, 33 days leave, additional benefits)
Hybrid role – Midlands region, with time spent at home, our head office, and remote locations as required

The Retrofit Academy CIC is the driving force behind retrofit training in the UK – and we’re looking for a Retrofit Skills Coach to join our expert team. This is your chance to shape the next generation of retrofit professionals and play a key role in tackling the UK’s net zero challenge.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator (or equivalent retrofit qualification)
• 3+ years’ professional, post-qualification experience in retrofit or related fields
• Ideally a teaching/assessing qualification – but full training provided if not yet achieved
• Experience in training, mentoring, or assessing learners (desirable)
• Strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and learner focus

What you’ll do:

• Deliver engaging retrofit training and assessment (classroom, online & bespoke delivery)
• Assess learner work, providing constructive feedback and timely support
• Mentor and coach learners to achieve their goals and grow in confidence
• Contribute to course development, ensuring content reflects the latest industry standards
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement of training delivery
